Writing

At school I hated writing, we didn’t have computers and my ‘joined-up’ or cursive writing was untidy to say the least. In those days it was a major disadvantage and I often got marked down for it.

I’ve always loved reading though. Mostly non-fiction.

I’ve got to enjoy writing again, particularly since the advent of the computer keyboard, meaning I no longer have to be concerned about my untidy scrawling cursive efforts.

Now there is a new problem. What the heck do I write about?

Drowsy Driving

You wouldn’t drink and then drive, but perhaps you would pull an all-nighter online or studying.

8,000 people a year worldwide are killed by drowsy drivers. 65% of US drivers admit to driving while tired, and 37% admit to actuall falling asleep at the wheel. Driving after being awake for 24 hours reduces your alertness to that of someone that is too drunk to drive.

Think about that, and don’t drive tired. Wake up!
