I like Spotify. I use it a lot. I have a £9.99 premium subscription so I can play unlimited music when mobile. Some people think that’s extravagant, but then many people pay a lot more for premium TV channels.
I discover plenty of new music and new artists and rediscover old stuff. Sometimes, like recently, I discover old stuff that’s been remixed that I’ve never heard before.
Such was the case with Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’. A track from her 1977 album ‘I Remember Yesterday’, it’s been remixed by Patrick Cowley and you can find it here, if you’ve got Spotify.
It’s on an album entitled Donna Summer – I Feel Love: The Collection, which was released in 2013. I have to admit that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on that original 1977 album, and it really does seem like it was just yesterday, and not the best part of forty years ago!
