I’m at the hospital now, dressed in a gown.
A nurse called Maggie has me wired up ready fur a sedative. I’m waiting for the gastroenterologist now.
It’ll soon be over, and I can have coffee and food!

It’s Saturday morning, almost 9am. I’m riding the bus to the hospital for this procedure.
The prep wasn’t as bad as I thought. I didn’t have any accidents in the night, in fact I didn’t wake up until I needed to pee at 5.30am.
Then, though, my mind was in instant overdrive, and I’ve been awake since.
Right now, I want coffee and breakfast!
Hopefully, everything will be OK, and I’ll be eating at least something in about five hours.
Bottoms up! Oo-er.

It’s ten pm here. I’ve taken both lots of MoviPrep. Kathy had Chinese take-out, and I had some clear soup which made a break from water and green tea. It’s not been so bad as I thought. Been running to the John a few times, but I’ve not had cramps, not had any accidents, not ended up with a sore, raw, butt. I’m hoping to turn in for the night soon, so I can be as fresh as a daisy for the big event tomorrow.
More green tea to keep me hydrated, before I go to bed.
