Gutted, I Will Be, Part 5

It’s ten pm here. I’ve taken both lots of MoviPrep. Kathy had Chinese take-out, and I had some clear soup which made a break from water and green tea. It’s not been so bad as I thought. Been running to the John a few times, but I’ve not had cramps, not had any accidents, not ended up with a sore, raw, butt.  I’m hoping to turn in for the night soon, so I can be as fresh as a daisy for the big event tomorrow.

Gutted, I’ll Be, Part 4

Well that stuff didn’t take too long to work. I think not having any solid food after breakfast has helped. I mean, there’s less for the MoviPrep to move, right? I’ve got to take another jugful of this stuff in another hour and a half. Hopefully, my innards will be settled down by bedtime.

Another thing, it’s important to keep hydrated, so I’m drinking green tea now.

Gutted, I Will Be, Part 3

I’ve started on this MoviPrep stuff. I’ve heard lots of complaints about how revolting it tastes, and I’m not a fan of flavoured water myself, but this isn’t that bad. Just slug down a glass full every fifteen minutes says the instructions, until it’s all gone.

MoviPrepThen repeat again in three hours.

Nothing has happened yet. I’m sitting here typing this, and waiting with some trepidation for the guts to start gurgling and my butt to start protesting that I should go sit on the crapper, but nothing yet. Heck it was only ten minutes ago.

I did eat low fibre stuff yesterday, as recommended, and the same this morning, so hopefully that will help.
