Cross-posting blog posts to social media is useful. It allows for more exposure to a winder audience, and can help draw readers to the originating blog.
However, setting up cross-posting needs to be done carefully, or it can lead to unnecessary duplication, which not only looks unprofessional, but can lead to a loss of followers if they see the same post appearing several times in quick succession.

I am on it, but I don’t really use it much. More as an afterthought. It’s a shame it’s going away though.
